ABOUT ME

a Czechoslovakian couple currently trying to find its way in Finland...on the way we got two presious sweethearts travelling along with us... and they are the best life opportunity that ever met us :)

Robert:
i like lightnings and seashores, cliffs, strong wind, wine.
i am alienating this earth to find out more about humans and afterwards myself.
i dont want to be on anyones side. i choose the middle way. when i enter place, building i usually go left.
i am good listener.
i respect all.
i am bad in organizing my life.
i am sagittarius, flegmatic.
but friends know me and like me anyway.

Vendula:
- I am a storyteller...love words and everything that is on and in between lines
- a water woman that can be touched by the simplest moments in the life... I cry when I am sad, I cry when I am happy...and it is driving Robert crazy :-)
- a fighter that is learning how to let go and accept
- passionate dreamer (day or night, we should let ourselves dream)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host and we surf... we are happy to welcome other travelers in our place, unless the amount of visitors is not driving crazy our flatmate. :-) We like to hang around with our guests, but we also like to leave you in peace and on your own (of course with a map, maybe bike... :-) ).

Robert:
i go with the wind.
but always interested in - music - movies

- Music because its like good friend, keeps you company whenever and wherever
- Movies because they take you someplace new, different, they shock, caress, make you cry, laugh, they train your senses

... and the rest come and go, some stay longer some not

Vendula:
reading, writing, talking, shouting, whispering. I love words! ... Currently I am learning how to be silent and enjoy that :) Poetry...

Meeting people, getting to know myself through getting to know others. Each of us has his own beautiful and touching story and each of us has its own specific way of telling. I love to listen and encourage the others to share.

i am a bad or slow reader, but i read and most enjoyed these:
'dostoyevski: crime and punishment'
'R.Ch. Maturin: melmoth the wanderer'
'Haruki Murakami: kafka on the shore'

Vendula:
- I read a lot (in Czech and English...once hopefully in Finnish as well :-) My favorite title is changing time to time, depending on the mood and my needs... But Tracy's Tiger from William Saroyan never lets me down.
- I love to watch movies - Pedro Almodovar, Tim Burton, Hayao Miyazaki... I am happy for every recommendation. (But! I cannot stand horror movies... too scared after watching! :-P ).
- Music is good, helping me to find the right place in my head. Nevertheless, I am more mainstream when it comes to the taste. :-) Robert is helping me find my way in the jungle of rhythms and beats (or he would suffer of my choices :-) )
