Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be a Renaissance woman. To learn more, do more, experience more, all with an open mind and focus on spiritual, mental and physical growth.
ABOUT ME
Down to earth, friendly, adventurous, giving, loyal and assertive. Highly curious about dang near everything! I have a great love of the natural world, yet appreciate the dichotomy of man-made in nature. I am a tree-hugger with a chainsaw. Life is about balance.
PHILOSOPHY
We can all find common ground if we try.
Being able to see both sides of a situation and bring opportunity for understanding, reaching common ground and growth/healing is a strong component of who I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Relationships are the most important thing to me so I am looking forward to creating the ripples of new friendships and experiences through CS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am actively taking guests this summer and enjoying meeting people from around the world. I do have a dog and cat neither of which are hairless :), for those who might have allergies.
Interests
Continually finding the interconnectedness of life is exciting to me. Meeting new people, learning new things and being willing to step out of my comfort zone are my current priorities. I love to read, garden, go dancing, listen to live music, have dinner w/ friends, study astrology, paint, and create, create, create!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: French Kiss, Chocolat, Tin Cup, Secondhand Lions, Sliding Doors, Sea Biscuit, Good Night and Good Luck are some of the movies I repeatedly watch. I was raised on old musicals and love documentaries as well. Books: The poetry of Hafiz, biographies, histories, and Illusions by Richard Bach. Music: Almost anything from any era. No "angry" music which for me includes much of the rap genre and ironically, classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving into Homer Alaska for the first time 18+ years ago. You follow the coast and it's beautiful, but then you pop up over the hill and the bay and the mountains and the spit are all out in front of you, and it takes your breath away!
Traveling to new places in general gives me a sense of wonder.
