ABOUT ME

Back in Singapore for good after studying in the UK for four years. Interested in sharing good food, wine, and an exchange of cultures and the French language.

Interested in social causes having volunteered in Honduras last summer and interned at a social enterprise back home a couple of summers ago.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To exchange ideas and learn more about others' way of life, and hopefully to give something back on my part. I like to travel alone because it pushes me out of my comfort zone to talk with, and live like locals.

I strongly feel that traveling should not just be about taking pretty pictures and without truly knowing the place itself. My most enjoyable trips so far have involved discussing how locals live at the place and exchanging our cultures, political views and interesting stories.

I've surfed mainly in France and all of experiences so far have been absolutely incredible. I really think that couchsurfing brings out the best in human nature. I find it amazing that people can extend such hospitality to a complete strangers. Thanks to my hosts, I have improved my French massively and discovered many things that I wouldn't have otherwise.
