Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I've used couchsurfing a lot both across Europe and the USA (the person I was travelling with at the time organized all the couch surfing for us both hence the lack of proof on my own profile!) and it honestly made the trips what they were. We experienced such continual generosity from every host and through them saw their hometown in a way we would never had a chance to. The stories I tell to family and friends when I get back off a trip are always based around people we met through couchsurfing and what we got up to together. Quite simply, using couchsurfing is the only way I want to travel, meeting the best kinfd of like-minded people along the way.

Backpacked Europe for 7 weeks aged 18, visiting over 16 countries. This is where I got my first taste of couchsurfing! It added so much to my experience and allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and see new countries and cultures in a personal light.

Lived and travelled in a dodge ram van in America for over 2 months in summer of 2018, going from Vancouver to L.A then across to Chicago! A bit of a step up from backpacking as we actually had a home -at all times! A fantastic way to travel and experience real freedom. We were also lucky enough to attract a lot of interesting company (deers, marmots, mice all included) along the way thanks to break downs and the lengths we went to make our van interesting to look at (it had tiny pot plants).

Lived and worked in Paris since September 2018 - an ongoing adventure of a different kind, and one that I hope to continue. Getting to know this city and feel at home in it has been a complete pleasure, as has been getting to know its many varied inhabitants. Je veux bien rester!
