I'm pretty easy going and interested in everything. I dropped out of college after my 3rd year and decided to pursue photography full time — it's been the best decision ever. I was born in Indonesia, grew up in Minnesota, but my heart is truly wherever I travel.

I travel alone a lot and I love meeting new people through my travels, couch surfing allows me to do that without having to go up to a stranger at a bar or a public place. I think it's a lot more fun to see new places through locals than staying in hotels and doing the usual touristy things.

Super wide variety.. I'd listen to anything by Mac Demarco to N.W.A. to Norah Jones. But I love some good old jazz and soul music.

All time favorite movie is My Girl. Very picky with movies but I love anything directed by Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson.

My favorite books are The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. I will read anything you recommend me, chances are I will love it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent three weeks volunteer teaching in a village of 200 people on a secluded island in West Papua, Indonesia. Nearest town is a 3 to 5 hour boat ride through the Pacific Ocean. No electricity, no cell service, no internet. It was an incredible experience.
