About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world and meet people from different cultures and learn about their lives in the places they live.

ABOUT ME

I have traveled to a number of places over the years, most often with my father to see the typical tourist sights. Since starting university and meeting all kinds of people from faraway places, I'm more interested in the cultural side of things, and I want to surf and visit lots of interesting places to hear how the locals feel about where they live and how they experience it.I'm pretty laid-back and open to most anything, be it the nightlife, a tourist trap or a good game of chess/pool/whatever.Non-smoker, drink (usually) if going out, otherwise rarely. As surfer, will be clean, neat and respectful of others. I enjoy the company of others and hope to make new friends through CS.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to learn as much as I can and hopefully teach some of what I've learned.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films, TV:Classic westerns, Medical shows, HBO series, blockbusters, whatever's on.Music:Like most kinds of music, especially early rock-'n-roll and  '80s rock/pop.Books:All sorts, lately have read a number of Robin Cook thrillers and a George Orwell anthology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My visit to Florida was just after a hurricane hit, and uprooted trees and smashed billboards were visible all around. It was an otherworldly experience for someone whose worst problem with nature had been the occasional hailstorm.
