About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expanding my knowledge beyond the current S size :-)
ABOUT ME
I let references speak on my behalf, anything I write about myself would be biased. Anyway I write what I like: every smart, active and deep thing turns me on.
PHILOSOPHY
As Mikhail Bakunin wisely wrote, By striving to do the impossible, man has always achieved what is possible. Those who have cautiously done no more than they believed possible have never taken a single step forward.... and this is my target rather than my philosophy, as I tend to forget it sometimes :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This community is great because it gives travelling totally new flavour. Traveling is no more discovering a place superficially, but it is getting embedded into culture directly from its roots, its people and their customs. That's why couchsurfing is special, that's why I love it. Although sometimes it takes time and energy, which are really rare resources, it is great being part of it.So the world will never be the same after CS!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first couchsurfed in Spain, in Valencia and Zaragoza. It was immediately a great feeling. Getting at people who lives the cities I had to visit allowed me to see much more of what I thought I could have seen by staying in a hostel or a hotel. It wasn't about saving, it was about the sharply different experience that I understood that as soon as I had my own place, I had to start sharing it with travellers
Well, frankly speaking, after hosting so many people in my place (way more than 100), I must say that I really love couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't read much narrative, but I enjoy it [recent note: I recently read E O Wilson (an Entomologist from Harvard)'s book entitled Anthill which I profoundly loved! if you are interested in animal societies and collaboration, you are extremely welcome in this place]. I simply have no time to divoure narrative books. Science is what I need to read, in fact. Ranging from pshychology, to semantics, to management, my interests vary in those respects, but I am open to broaden them. Movies, I like most of them, but horrors. :-) Music, just look what I did...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Miami and Oxford and I survived both experiences. The most remarkable thing, however, is trying to give a more international and cultural flavour to the city I was born and I live in: Treviso.I started and keep organising a weekly conversation convivium in town to make participants' English a bit better.
The last amazing thing I've done was surfing in Guincho in Portugal, I looooved it!!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can learn a lot, I love learning, although sometimes I get bored if the thing or the teacher is not brilliant, therefore a challange for you is to make very very funny whatever you want to teach or share...I don't know whether I am able to teach you something, but if I have some recipe for a simpler life that I could hand you, I will not hesitate
Among the other things I like sharing is the passion for my language and how expressive it is. Sometimes my english gets tweaked by my Italian-ness. If this paragraph sounds a bit mysterious and you need a visual glimpse to understand it, take a look at
