Hello!
I am a quirky, shy 26 year old girl who has always wanted to see the world! I went to New York by myself for five days a few years back and was pretty proud of myself. But I really crave seeing new cultures, new ways of life, meeting awesome people, and doing something totally crazy (for me).
I'm really hoping to break out of my comfort zone on my journey - and break out of my shell. I'm really going to push myself to be more outgoing so i don't miss any great connections along the way.
Reading is my passion, I always have a book on me. I read anything that interests me but i have a special place for horror novels.
Right now I rent a house with my sister and her fiance. My friend stays with me too, sleeping on my floor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with people with different cultures, different views, awesome stories, and friendly attitudes. I love learning about people and different parts of the world. And of course, looking for a place to crash while i travel.

reading - i love horror novels the most.
writing - i write novels, short stories, and poems. i don't really plan on getting published - just like doing it.

movies: interview with a vampire - okay, no one make fun of me for that.
music - musicals like rent, next to normal, phantom of the opera - too many to choose! i also enjoy normal bands like hedley, marianas trench, typical mainstream stuff that i hear on the radio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to New York by myself for five days - it was my first time traveling alone and it was great. i went to see a whole bunch of awesome broadway shows.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the ocarina! I can play zelda's lullaby, harry potter theme, and silent night. skillz!
I can do teach you how to do some tricks with devil sticks.
I can teach you some cool tricks with hula hooping, my newest hobby.

I can offer the following:
- traveling stories about my trip to New York wherein i have a massive panic attack upon arrival.
- traveling stories about my trip to Mexico
- Stories about my dangerous workplace - i work overnights at a restaurant in an area really bad for gang activity and drug problems. I've even been through an armed robbery. I have many, many hilarious and gasp-worthy tales. lol.
- meaningful conversations - i'm not one for mindless chatter but i love really getting to know people.
