Currently, to scratch my traveling itch and spread the art of poi.

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly portland grown kid. I'm pretty talkative, and I'm one of those people who is likely to start conversations with strangers I meet around town.

I love the woods. I love the ocean. But most of all I love the art of poi. Poi is when you attach two balls to a string and spin them in different patterns. This can be done with, or without them on fire. Though it's more fun when the poi are on fire. ;)

Currently I'm telling people about Couch Surfing and all of the great oppurtunities is has to offer in hopes that they'll sign up themselves.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet to couch surf yet....But I'm looking forward to doing so. I've heard a lot of good stories about my sister doing it so far, so I'm hoping to have just as postive experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Outdoor school! I was placed into a cabin with two other high school girls, as well as 12 six grade girls and then I taught them about science! I taught them about soil, and other people taught them about animals, the water cycle, plants, and many other things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to spin poi, and the basic safety percautions you need to know if you want to move onto fire. If you're a spinner yourself, I'm sure we can trade tricks.
