ABOUT ME

I live my life open and honest and passionately. I love to experience new things. I think you can find humor in everything, and you should. I would rather do something active or outdoors than go clubbing...though I do go out sometimes; and when I do I'll take a red wine or a whiskey neat please ;) Music is part of me to the deepest extent. I consider myself a humanitarian, genuinely concerned about the effect I have on the world and aware of the effect the world has on me. I don't have a religion, but I have certain beliefs and I respect yours. Mostly I'm just doing my best to experience as much of the world as possible and be happy :)

PHILOSOPHY

I live to make music. It's a part of me, like a vital organ. I NEED to do it. I LOVE to do it. And I love how it can affect others around me. I work a desk job for now to support my real ambition, but I could never give up music just to make a better wage. Too many people only dream when they're sleeping. They're too scared to really go for what they want out of life because it might not work out or it might not be comfortable. But you only get one life, and you never know how long it's going to be...so I'd rather be fulfilled in what I'm doing. Why play it "safe" when the ending is out of your control anyway?

I am very big on mutual respect, so if you invite me to stay with you, you can be sure that I will respect you and your home. If I am traveling to perform, I will make sure you get a ticket or get on a guest list for the show. And I'm a wonderful cook! My specialty is my Thai yellow curry :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing. I'm starting to travel more with my music and some art & fashion show friends who couch surf a lot told me I should check it out. It looks like a great way to travel cheap, meet new people, and have a good time. So, I'm looking forward to the experience.

Wine. ...I have a lot of interests and so many things I want to do but haven't done yet. I'm planning on checking a lot of those things off my list through couch surfers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a flight lesson a few months ago, and that was a fun...very surreal...experience. But I think the best thing I've ever done adventure wise is drive cross country by myself and stop at the Grand Canyon on the way. I have not yet seen anything in nature that floored me as much as the Grand Canyon. The sheer immensity and depth of it really puts everything in perspective. And I needed some perspective at that time.
