I am from California, where I have lived my entire life and I am eager to see the world! I currently attended San Diego State University and currently applying for dental school. In my time between obtaining my Bachelor's degree and graduate school, I plan on traveling through Europe with my best friend! I love to spend time outdoors, hiking, scuba diving, and exploring new places!

One amazing thing I have done is travel to Isla Mujeres to study the microbiome of whale sharks! I work in a microbial ecology labratory at San Diego State University and had the opportunity to swim with whale sharks and collect samples for our research! One of the coolest parts was being able to work with local scientists who showed us around the island and took us to places I would have never gone if I wasn't with someone who lived there!
