I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan where I studied theatre performance with minors in community action and social change and performing arts management. In addition to the performing arts, I love learning more about politics, people, food, music, language, and art. Upon graduation, I received the Raoul Wallenberg Fellowship from my university and proceeded to spend the next year working with different organizations in Bangalore and Mumbai, India. I have facilitated theatre, music, and dance workshops in prisons and other marginalized spaces across the world, and am about to begin teaching inside a New York State correctional facility this summer.
Many of my close friends and family still can't believe that Couchsurfing is a real/safe way to travel/meet people, so I love to prove them wrong one happy, human adventure at a time!
