I am terrible at writing these things, but I really like people and getting to know the stories of others.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is really short. I believe that we have no concept of what the human mind can really accomplish or comprehend. I believe that we should live life to the fullest which is entirely subjective for you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always try to help people in their travels and make sure that they are having a good time. When I've traveled, I've been lucky to stay with some of the most amazing people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience I've had through couchsurfing has been highly positive. There have been lots of good chats, laughs, food and drinks along the way.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies - Even though I was a film studies major in university, I have a deep love for crappy films. I definitely appreciate quality films as well, but I just thought that I would get that out there in the open.

Music - I grew up listening to and loving hippie jam bands, but I have since expanded that world to include pretty much everything under the sun with some serious love for anything on the dance floor.

Books - I hate to admit this, but I hardly read anymore. I would like to start reading a chronological collection of books on the culture/philosophy of man from the beginning of time until now. Any favorites?

I'm very fortunate...I've been able to experience so many amazing things in my short lifetime. I don't want to pick just one because I fear I might offend the other memories. :)

I am a teacher by trade, but I'm not sure really what I can teach other 'functioning adults.' I'm an excellent at hugging, okay at cooking, and pretty great at laughing.

I love being outside and hiking, but I'm not well trained in "outdoorsy" things. Meaning, I want to learn how to fly fish, get back into climbing, set up a tent blindfolded (?), kayak,...I would love to find someone around or even someone coming through town to hangout with and get outside!
