ABOUT ME

I am a student from Kingston, Ontario, Canada currently on exchange in Leeds. I'm 20 and am soon to turn big 21 (hopefully will be travelling on the big day). I consider myself engaging, friendly, fun, and always up to try something new!! For me nothing beats that tingling feeling down the back of my neck when I arrive in a new city, and that feeling of trepidation as I try and get my bearings! But some of my best memories from travelling have been meeting other travellers and sharing lasting experiences together! I've been traveling around Europe since September during school breaksI have a month off for Easter and during the summer and can't wait to travel around Europe some more and learn how unique the world really is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done Coachsurfing before!! I can't wait to try it once I start travelling during my easter break and summer break! So many of my friends have recommended it, so I can't wait to meet lots of interesting and unique people and learn all about their adventures and experiences!!

兴趣

I'm really passionate about environmental issues- living green, buying local! I love being outdoors and hiking and seeing the wonders that nature has to offer. I love animals- I use to have 3 dogs! I wanted to be a vet for the majority of my life, but decided to study the environment instead! I love painting, drawing, printing- all forms of visual art! I also sing and play the trombone- music, art, and the environment have always been a huge part of my life!

音乐、电影和书籍

I like a range of music- from indie to pop to soundtrack music to musicals. I love Regina Spektor, Alexandre Desplat (composer), John Williams, Justin Timberblake, Michael Buble, Billy Holiday... the list goes on! Lots of different kinds of music.

As for books- I grew up reading Harry Potter! I love the series!! I love pleasure reading but only really get to do it in the summer when I'm not in school! I love the classics too like Jane Eyre!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to Morocco in Decemeber 2012 and rode camels through the Sahara desert. I saw the sun set and rise whilst ridding a camel and spent a night in the desert! The night sky was like none other I have seen- saturated with shooting stars!
