Hello everyone,

My name is Merel and currently I am living and studying in Groningen (city in the Netherlands). I always had an interest in different cultures and people. I already visited a lot of amazing countries with my parents, but after graduation I decided to travel for half a year by myself. It was an incredible experience and made a lot of new friends. I love being on the road and exploring counrties and my own comfort zone.

I don' have one particular favourite book nor music genre. I love so much different kinds of music and books. It can go from rock to classical. If your really curious you can always find me on spotify or we can listen to music together when you visit me ;)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most amazing experiences of my life was hiking through the Himalaya. I did this for three weeks and met so many amazing people along the way. The nature was overwhelming and It felt so cool to reach the the top at 5416 meters. (Those final 16 meters definetely counted.)
