About Me

Currently: Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪

Hi! I’m Meri :)

I hate describing myself , but here goes my best… 😚

I’m Coachsurfing member since 2019, but never actually gave it a go. But, after friends highly recommended the experience, this is me trying.

I left my house in Córdoba, Argentina 3 years and a half ago and I’ve been traveling and working here and there ever since. From working in kiwi orchards in New Zealand to coffee shops in Berlin, and even a brief stint picking oranges (like, 2 days 🙈) in Southern Italy.

I’m currently hopping between countries, occasionally stressing over travel visas lol, and of course, trying delicious vegan food along the way, while making great friendships and connections.

Traveling allows me to feel the truest version of myself, it challenges me and makes me want to live life wholeheartedly.
I would like to a find a place to call home one day, but for now I’m enjoying some pretty awesome life experiences :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m curious about most people—their stories, where they come from, and what’s pulling them toward wherever they’re headed. Everyone’s journey is so unique, and I love hearing what moves them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m a huge Lord of the Rings fan 🧝🏼‍♀️ (it’s actually what inspired me to move and live in New Zealand in the first place haha)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living with a Vietnamese family up in a mountain village for a few days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can probably teach you some Spanish, show you a few Latin dance moves 🤷🏻‍♀️, and share all kinds of facts about things I find interesting like spirituality, the environment, astrology, or plant-based eating.

Lately, I’ve been wanting to explore film photography a bit more, especially how to tell stories through images. I’m also really drawn to learn more about spiritual practices and healing, specially Buddhism, and I’d love to learn more from people who practice them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can (hopefully) cook you a delicious vegan meal! Share some insightful conversations about traveling and connections, teach you some Argentine slang, and maybe even show you some Cuarteto dance moves from my hometown.
Sound good?
