About Me
CURRENT MISSION
should we really have a mission?after 5 years of a normal life, giving a lot in my job,I needed change. The question everybody asked me was "what would you like to do?"and I still don't have the answer!so maybe my current mission is to answer this question
ABOUT ME
I'm not really keen on speaking about me, cause I actually prefer to listen to people's stories. But what I can say briefly is that I do love meeting new people, it is as if every new people i meet is giving something to me, maybe learning about myself, but above all it is learning about other way of life, other way of thinking that I like. Well, okay, it looks a bit too serious, whereas I'm more the kind of smiling person, seing the good side on things (except when I'm not in a good mood! But in general, a chocolate block can fix that!;)) . What else...i like chilling out with friends, trying to live not in a hurry, cause I think we need to take time to live, especially when we appreciate what we are experiencing.
I like to give too, that's why I'm trying as much as possible to give a bit of my energy to the people who open their door for me. Usually it is a hand in their garden, or looking after the kids or cooking. Just things I naturally like to do and spend time for.
PHILOSOPHY
No plan is a plan
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend of mine is on coachsurfing. I met her in Bangkok and we stayed together at a couchsurfer's. And I LIKED it! :)
Interests
Wilderness, hiking, photography, gardening (permaculture). Outdoor things in general. Oh, and cooking! Sweet stuff mostly;) I like going out too and I trained to drink beer as fast as aussie people do ! Hard work though !;)
Now I have been staying in Vanuatu for a while, I'm finding myself really interested in civilisation and their evolution.
- culture
- photography
- cooking
- chocolate
- permaculture
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first one would be that I assisted one of my friends when she gave birth.
The second one is definitely to have lived in Vanuatu... and looking at the end of a civilisation. At least, this is how I feel about it. The end of their culture because white men came, bringing their religion and their money, washing everyone's mind, fading every islands' specificity and creating soon just consumers as we all are in our western countries.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've gathered quite a few knowledge about permaculture in tropics that I can share
oh, and I'm learning how to sow ! I find it quite fun actually !
Countries I’ve Visited
