Hi everyone! My name is Maria and I come from Verona, Italy.
In may 206 I decided to quit my cushy jobs to start a journey through Europe. I'm going to work along the way but I would meet locals and discover hidden corners that tourists can't find!
Currently I'm working and living in Reykjavik but I live with other people (included a guy from Vietnam sleeping in the living room) so atm, sadly, I´m not able to host you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to share travel experiences, love to hear life stories and getting in touch with people I couldn't meet in any other way. Oh and because 'There are no strangers here; only friends you haven't yet met.'
Even if I can´t host you right now, I´m still interested in meeting you!

Interests

I'm an open minded, crazy, curious, social, active and easy girl who laugh all the time.
I enjoy going out and have fun but I like solitary moments as well.
I love discovering new places, ideas, cultures and I am always seeking to broaden my horizons..may they be social, cultural or intellectual.

I'm interested in Beauty..music, cinema and art in general. I love the time spent outdoor, nature, good company (with or without) beer/wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is another thing I spend a lot of time with - I love going to festivals and concerts. I can't wait to know people who can introduce me to new bands!
My music taste change depending on my mood..I listen to many different musical genres but I appreciate most folk-rock, classical music, post-rock, instrumental, indie music..

I do also spend my time watching tv-series (Narcos, Breaking bad, Mr.Robot, Fargo, True Detective, American Horror Story, The Bridge, Dexter, The Killing, The Mentalist, Lie to me, Hannibal and many more..)
My favourite Directors are Hitchcock, Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, the Coen Brothers, Brian de Palma..

Favourite books: De Profundis, Sunset Limited, White Nights and Other Stories and Aus dem Leben eines Taugenichts.
