Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Especially in countries where regular backpackers/hostels are less easily available we expect to be able to meet the friendliest people via couchsurfing and get to know the country and culture better.

Interests

Diving, travelling, water sports (kite surfing, wakeboarding, ..), eating a great diversity of national dishes around the world and cooking (if I can remember how to...)

Music, Movies, and Books

We love chill-out music and melodic lounge but also techno or trance party music and we even enjoy salsa and meringue music and dancing when in Latin America.

We read a lot and very varied, often non-fiction books that give a little insight in what makes a country tick or how a culture works, like many books of the author Bryce Courtenay who has written beautiful books about South Africa and Australia where he lived parts of his life.
