ABOUT ME

Grew up in a small town in New Caledonia, travelled a lot with my family since I was a child. Moved to NZ for university and never left! Graduated with a Master of Science in Chemistry, worked for a few years and then decided I had to see some more of the world.

So I left my job and went travelling with my boyfriend Wayne. We have been in the western States and BC, Canada...visiting the national parks, freedom camping in our campervan as much as we could, sampling local foods in little towns in the middle of nowhere and visiting family in Canada. Then moved on to Europe for 3 months, then Dubai, Singapore and back to square one!

Wayne and I are both late 20s, we like to explore and share our experiences with people. Wayne works as a skydiver and I am a formulation chemist for a NZ skincare company.

After being hosted all around Europe, it's our turn to give something back by hosting other travellers!

We welcome respectful travellers who want to couchsurf to share their stories with us, be friendly and share a meal.

If you just want a free place to sleep and not be friendly or respectful in our house, do not come here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, amazing was growing up on a tropical island with all the freedoms and life skills it has given me. Hearing the dawn call of the Cagou in the forest, swimming in a pristine reef and lagoon and running away from reef sharks at low tide when I was a child.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about places I am from, my languages, random things like parallel parking (helped a friend with that!), changing a tyre or butchering meat...

I want to learn Spanish! More precisely re-learn because I was young and lazy with it at school :(

What I Can Share with Hosts

We will share our house, cool stories, interesting things around our area. Also our mountain bikes if you are careful with them.
If you come during the weekend or when Wayne is not working, we could even go somewhere together.
