Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing, but I have been hosting some travelers before, both friends and random people who needed a roof over their heads. I am mostly on the move myself, however! Often in Japan, mostly in Europe: in Norway, Finland, The Netherlands and France, mainly. I am a modern nomad and most of my travels are connected with my work: performing and teaching workshops and I have a place to stay, usually. I'm interested in finding some couches on my next trip to Japan 27.June-15.August as I will take some time to travel around by train. I will be back in Kautokeino after that, if you are coming to Arctic Norway!

Interests

I am interested in contemporary art, music (many kinds: world music, experimental etc. but mostly not the current mainstream…) and all things creative, including cozy things like knitting or gardening or cooking! I love different cultures, how people are experiencing the world, how they express themselves, all the different languages. I also love meditation, simple yoga & Qi Gong, which I like to practice daily, but in a very easy going way. I am very lively on the outside and very peaceful and kind inside! :)
