About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking to learn, to do meaningful and creative things.

Cheerful, outgoing and laid-back. Respectful to others.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment it's difficult to me to host, but if the time is right I can host max. two people. Please contact me about 10 days prior to your arrival, so that we'll have time to arrange everything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Estonia in August 2013 and Serbia in March 2014. My flatmate hosted many couchsurfers in our house 2014-2018, where she was the main host. I have also WWOOFed in Italy, Austria and Aland Islands.

Besides this, I have traveled, volunteered, worked and studied in many parts of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my big love, I play the piano and some other instruments. I like many different type of genres of music, but normally they would have to have a connection to a place where I have been or a people I have met.

Reading is wonderful, one of my favourite ways of relaxing is to spend a whole weekend in a bed with a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh so many! I have been very lucky in this respect. I work in the international development sector, so I travel in many places for my work. Guinea in West-Africa is my latest love.

Teach, Learn, Share

Above all just sharing and learning from each other!

I would like to learn new types handicrafts, get to know new music and hear about new wonderful places. Cooking is also a big plus, I LOVE food. I can also help you, if you have more time to stay and you are interested to do some volunteer work.

I can show you my city and tell you about Finnish history and traditions. We can also tell you about all that is going on in Helsinki - flee markets, concerts, arts shows or festivals. I love cooking, so there would also be some food on the way!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences, cooking, music and my friendship. I can show you my city and tell you about Finnish history and traditions, as well as the places I have lived or worked in.
