ABOUT ME

I grew up outside of a small village in Germany, literally in the fields... And then kept on moving to bigger cities. Moving, in any case, seems to be what I have done quite a bit, constantly on the move, be it between places, topics, works, people... Since 2010, the longest I have stayed anywhere was for almost two years in Berlin, which is where I study Regional studies of Asia and Africa, and will soon return to.
For the past half year, I have lived in Beijing, doing an intensive Chinese program at Peking University.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After not having done any couchsurfing for about three years now, as I just find myself on another backpacking trip through Taiwan, I realize that staying at hostels really isn't quite my thing anymore. Much rather than exchanging the whole "where do you come from, where have you been, wherelse will you travel to" I'd like to get to know a bit more about a person – and where can you better do that than in that person's home and city? Moreover, when I'm travelling, I'd also just like to feel at home, take it easy, read, drink coffee...
