About Me
Hey,
after I finished my apprenticeship and started working as physiotherapist and health consultant, i felt that there was something missing.
I spent most of my life in the same city and couldn't speak a foreign language, not even english.
I want to change that. Now my english is good enough to order some stuff or do some bad jokes, despite the fact that Germans don't have humor.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to spent half a year or more in another country, so for the year 2018 I'm going to travel around Europe and would like to learn different languages.
Besides working I like to do some sports and I'm strictly avoiding going by cars, busses or trams. I prefer walking and going by bike and sometimes riding my motorcycle for farther distances.
Besides my unusual behavior in relation to my love for planet earth, people would characterize me as quite funny.
And if you don't take yourself too seriously, we will probably have a good time together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from all around the world to experience different cultures and learn different languages: At the moment I'm learning English and after an appropriate ability of speaking it I want to learn French or Swedish.
I'm not that kind of person who stays only on the hotel with big pools and all that stuff. I prefer to meet with locals, do some hikes and enjoy not touristic and not too crowded beauties of nature!
Interests
I am kind of a sport fanatic and intend to do some sport every day at least for an hour.
Further I violate my guitar and torture my neighbours with my magnificient voice equaling an angelic choir.
Sometimes i write some songs, ballads and poems, most of them ironical.
As most adultescents I spent much time with friends, mostly next to the rhine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Everything, that's not mainstream.
Books: I'm looking for funny books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A spontaneous road trip from Vancouver to Yellowknife and back in seven days (5000 miles) with 3 random people and my sister to see the northern lights.
The templestay in Myogaksan (Seoul) has opened a different view of life, the universe and everything. The sinim there was one of the most impressive persons I've ever met... so far
What I Can Share with Hosts
Certainly I can show coachsurfer the city and give them some tips, especially to go for delicious vegeterian and vegan meals.
I'm also not reluctant in meeting people to do some sports, unless you want to go to the gym.
Although my home is not that big (only one room), there is the possibility to sleep on my coach.
