I like to live simply and like to be simple minded when the culture allows. But I can indulge a certain penchant for pretentiousness with a tendency to the verbose. I'm living on a farm in Wales with some close friends. I'm interested in how this way of living close to the land can be made more available to people. I like to be in the woods.
Surfers without transport should know that I have no car to pick them up from the local train station, Clunderwen, and it is a difficult 30 minute cycle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travellers carry a stimulating sort of energy.
Food growing. Craft and woodworking. Natural building. Wilderness. Beer. Wine. Brandy. Reading. Smoking a pipe of fine tobacco before an open fire while a beautiful man or women reads me the script to the film Point Break (starring Patrick Swayze). I'd like to become more confident in singing and dancing. And more engaged in social action.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Big Lebowski. Zorba the Greek. Catch 22. Point Break. The growth of the soil. Hermann Hesse. Haruki Murakami. Films by Mayazaki.
All sorts of music. I like folk and country right now. Mostly just read novels but some books on deep ecology, permaculture and political explanations have interested me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built myself a hut from logs and earth.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn some sea shanties.
I know some basic outdoors/camping stuff that I would love to share.
Countries I’ve Visited
