I'm a 23 year old green haired, adventure seeking, dirt rat.
Grew up in Oregon, in a little college town between Eugene and Portland. In the winter time I migrate to Salt Lake City and work as a ski instructor, though severe lack of snow the last few years has taken some of the fun out of that.
I spend my summers occasionally finding odd jobs, but mostly vagabonding around. I've spent a fair amount of time exploring parts of Europe ((not nearly enough)), and have hitchhiked through much of the US.
I'm somewhat of an introvert at first, but it doesn't take very long before I open up more!

This July, I am partaking in a month long artist in residency program--working primarily with oil paints--in Sibiu, Romania through the Dacia Gallery. When my program is over I will be spending the next 6 weeks traveling through Europe.

Especially while overseas, I would like to be able to meet new, fun likeminded folks who may be willing to show me or direct me around the towns I'm in. I'd love to get more of a local feel, as opposed to just seeing the more touristy sides of places.

I enjoy a lot of punk, especially folk punk...most anything involving an accordion or a banjo. I have a soft spot in my heart for new wave 80s. I'm not picky about any particular genre, but I do have my favorites.

I love finding new books, but I have a few that I can read over and over again without ever growing bored. All of Jon Longhi's books, Richard Brautigan's Trout Fishing in America, several Aaron Cometbus collections, and Jesus' Son by Denis Johnson.
