About Me
I'm a Colorado native and work from my home office. I love hearing other's stories and travel experiences. I'm between moves and when I have a place of my own again, I would love to host. In the mean time, a fellow couch-surfing friend told me about this service and I'm hoping to be able to utilize it during my road trip(s) to find a place to relocate.
I've stayed at a couple of AirBnBs this trip and my reviews can be found at https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/63384416.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend who has hosted and surfed told me about this great website. I just took a 24 day road trip through MO, TN, KY, KS, IN and IL to look for affordable housing and a beautiful area to relocate. I've lived in CO all my life but sold my home of 19 years recently. Since housing prices, population (and traffic) have exploded, I've been looking for options outside of my home state. I'd love to find a place with views of pastureland and mountains. During my trip last month, I was unable to plan far enough in advance to enjoy the benefit of meeting fellow couch surfers (loose itinerary and working around Realtor's schedules). While the expense of lodging really added up, I also missed the benefit of connecting with locals and hearing what you like about your area. I hope to have some great couch surfing experiences and make some new connections as I venture out on "part 2" of this journey through WY, UT, ID, OR, WA and MT.
Interests
Hiking, photograhy, nature, animals, all things Google and the internet.
My friend, Lori, goes to Alaska almost every year to get closeup pictures of grizzly bears. My bucket list includes a trip like that only for photos of polar bears.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taking this multi-state road trip alone when I thought I'd turn around on day one from fear and anxiety. The initial trip east lasted 24 days and after being home for about 2 weeks, I've hit the road again.
