Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I live in staff housing in a nature preserve so cannot host, but my family in Indianapolis has hosted students and professionals from all over the world. I started the trend by asking for an exchange sister when I was in high school. I'm just starting to travel again and much prefer to meet locals rather than being a tourist.
