I am currently traveling through Mexico to improve my Spanish and learn more about the culture and country.

ABOUT ME

I am a laid back quiet extrovert who enjoys exploring, meeting new people, puppet making, and playing cribbage.

I have done two bicycle tours across the US. The first was California to South Carolina, and the most recent was from Louisiana to Minnesota. I love the pace of traveling by bicycle and I know Im not done yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was lucky enough to be hosted when I traveled from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest. Then when I moved back to the Midwest I was able to host at my home in Ashland WI.
During my bicycle adventures, I was lucky enough to be welcomed into the homes of so many strangers (around 100!) and I believe whole heartedly in reciprocity, so that's why I'm here.

Interests

Winter and water sports of all sorts, crafting with kittens and pals, causing a mild rukus with friends, drinking brews, dancing my pants off at bluegrass shows, sailing boats, creative expression through puppetry and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biked/skied Glacier National Park and watched avalanches crash at high noon.

I can teach: bicycle maintenance and safety, fermentation, knitting and crocheting, gardening, and skiing.
I'd like to learn how to fly!
