I am Mert have just graduated in mechanical engineering in Turkey and I am an erasmus student in Liberec, Czechia carrying out an internship at the university. I like travelling and exploring new cities. Especially when I travel alone, I find something new about myself and that is an awesome experience for me. To be honest, everything started with my first erasmus experience that I had two years ago in Croatia. New perspectives, thoughts shaped in my mind and help me getting know myself better. Thanks to erasmus, I have been abroad first time and I got enough courage to dare even living and working in Australia in the future! I could clearly observe how Mert has changed and improved himself over time and determine possible goals to himself. The desire of been abroad never leave me and eventually for second time I went on erasmus and currently carrying out an internship at the university in Liberec, Czechia. For a few years after, I have an idea of going to Australia and live there for a while through a visa which allows engineering students to enter Australia. Therefore, I would be so glad if I meet someone from Australia or already live there for a while.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and sharing the life experience with them. I believe that everyone has different perspective and maybe my life will change and will be better with new perspective which I learned. Unfortuately, I am not be able to host you in İstanbul while I live with my family and the apartment is really small but I can show you around İstanbul.

If I like the melody of a song, I can listen that every time. My favorite type of musics are rock and punk. But I prefer listening classical music sometimes. So, I dont have one type of music obsession.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did bungee jumping in Ada Ciganlija, Belgrade. The height was 53 meters. The feeling of jumping was amazing. Every time when I think that I did bungee jumping, I said to myself that how did I do that? :)
