About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Collecting border stamps and bizarre travel stories until my passport files a restraining order.
Also: finding people who say “yes” before they ask “where?”

ABOUT ME

I used to describe myself as energetic. Still true. But now I also come with a built-in GPS for mischief and mildly questionable decisions in foreign countries.
If my friends were to describe me, they’d say:
Sleeps anywhere (boats, hammocks, ski lifts)
Can’t resist old castles, live music, or windy coasts
“Probably in another country right now…”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels don’t introduce you to weird midnight snacks, spontaneous jam sessions, or conversations that make you rethink your whole worldview.
I believe the best part of travel is the people—not the places. (Though cool places with cool people? 10/10.)

Interests

If it moves, I’ll ride it. If it floats, I’ll sail it. If it snows, I’ll ski it.
When I’m not doing that, I’m usually:
Turning maps upside down to find new routes
Crashing local festivals in ski boots
Asking “is it swimmable?” even in soup
Sports that require wetsuits, helmets, or bad decisions

Bonus hobbies:
📸 Looking dramatic in nature for no reason
🎿 Chasing powder like it owes me money
🌊 Scuba, sailing, surfing, and sometimes sinking (gracefully)

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly electronic but whatever fits the vibe. I love discovering local techno DJs and dancing until sunrise at open-air festivals. If there’s a beat, I’m probably already moving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Explored ancient castles, unmanned islands, and one suspiciously friendly goat village.
Also: once tried to paraglide off a ski lift. It didn’t work. I still recommend it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
How to ski, surf, or kite just well enough to impress strangers—but not enough to avoid bruises
How to almost break a bone and your ego, but still laugh about it
Packing tips for when half your bag is helmets and hope

Learn:
Local adrenaline spots: cliffs, waves, slopes—bring them on
How not to dislocate anything mid-adventure (seriously, open to suggestions)
What drives you to try that “one more time” even after the wipeout

Share:
First-aid kit wisdom and stories that start with “So there I was upside down in the air…”
My genuine stoke for anything that makes your heart race
The unshakable belief that scars make great travel souvenirs

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good vibes and bad dance moves
A never-ending travel playlist
A hand in the kitchen (or at least in the dishes)
Travel stories, cultural exchange, and probably a couch in return—somewhere, someday
And if you’re into sports, let’s hit the waves, slopes, or court together!
