Hi! We’re Merve and Saša – a couple in our 20s, currently based in Sindelfingen, Germany, though our roots stretch across Bosnia, Turkey, and wherever the road leads us.

Saša studied psychology and was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I (Merve) also studied psychology and yoga, and was born in Turkey. We’re both deeply curious about people, cultures, and how others live and think.

We love traveling not just to see places, but to feel them – through the people we meet, meals we cook together, spontaneous conversations, and shared experiences (karaoke nights or deep talks, anyone?). We believe travel is not about collecting photos or ticking off lists, but about real connection. That’s why we love Couchsurfing – it brings out the best in humans.

Currently, I’m solo traveling through Japan, while Saša is in Germany preparing for our new life together in Sindelfingen. We’re taking this time to grow, learn, and get inspired for what’s ahead.

We enjoy indie music, road trips, and learning something new wherever we go. Right now, we’re on a journey to combine our passions into something meaningful – maybe hosting yoga & meditation events, maybe organizing social projects – we’re figuring it out as we go!

Merve :
To me meeting people is like reading books; readers always have a different perspective on the same book just as everyone has a different view of other people! Through Couchsurfing, I want to meet as many people as I can to widen my horizons!

Merve:
🎶 I mostly like calm music; the new wave of Dark Academia for instance, it became as my brain food. To be specific, there are some bands and artists that I have been listening for years; those are The Neighbourhood, TwentyOnePilots, SYML, Eurielle and Billie Eilish.

🎥 I am not a fan of horror movies but other than that I can grab so much things from any other movies. I mostly enjoy watching movies with a good company :)

📚 My favorite book until now is Momo by Micheal Ende. I read it in 2019, and since than everytime when I say "I don't have time" I stop and start thinking of it...
