ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Mike from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I like music, sounds, writing, audio engineering, hiking, sports, funny hats, making up words*, travelling, tea, meeting interesting people, eluding "the man", people watching, reading, being creative in any aspect, etc... I have many flaws, my feet are not one of them. They are very strong and can withstand harsh enviroments. I play music full time, and am currently trying to get a manuscript published.
If you let me sleep on your couch, and you want, I will play songs until the sun rises and my voice is hoarse... if you want.
Also, Harrison Ford once stepped on my cousins foot and JFK asked my grandmother on a date. They both said, "No!".

*Here's the best word I made up....(Bearanoid)- derived from the latin “bearanoia” is to become fearful, overly hesitant, and experience systematized delusions of persecution upon sighting of a large black bear while deep in the wilderness.
Those suffering from “Bearanoia” experience increased nervousness, accelerated heart rate and clear mental visions of grotesque bear maulings. Once “Bearanoia” sets in, a sufferer begins to see all black objects as a potential bears.
One who has become bearanoid often experiences similar sensations to an individual who is Panda Panicky, Cow-ardly, Rattled Snaked, or Megan Foxed.
Symptoms can be relieved by yelling loud profanities in the direction of the sighting and returning to civilization as quick as fuck. If symptoms persist for more than a week, stay inside and enjoy Call of Duty in the safety of your living room.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to be travelling around North America in the next few years playing shows, busking, meeting people, promoting my music, seeing new places, being inspired, etc... I'd love to stay on couches, meet the owners of those couches, and learn about the particular place i'll be in.

Other than the ones I listed above... Eating any type of food, exercising, beaches, meeting new people, drinks are good, time machines, comfortable chairs, not pain, good people.
