ABOUT ME

I'm 29 year old singer, who loves animals (especially my cat), pottery, and enjoys a good tea (or beer) with some interesting conversation. I'm sociable and funny. I'm very independent and LOVE to travel. I want to know the world, learn from it, meet new people, experience new cultures, learn new languages and have adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an optimist. I believe kindness is everything. Of course there is good and bad everywhere, but I am determined to find the good.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at a beautiful apartment in Brooklyn with the best host! I'm grateful I had such a great first experience. Now I am leaving my country and moving all the way across the ocean to Berlin, where I hope I will have the opportunity to grow and find myself outside of my comfort zone. I hope Couchsurfing will offer many more experiences as good or even better than the first one!

Centres d'intérêt

I am a singer and it's been my passion ever since I started at age 10. I also enjoy reading and writing and get along great with kids and animals. I love parks, and cafes and basically any place that's good to sit down and read and just relax for a while.
In the last 6 years I found a new passion in pottery. Just being able to use my hands and a little bit of mud to create something beautiful, is a beautiful experience.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: I love jazz, soul and indie folk. It can be some oldschool 50's jazz that transports me to a time that I never got to know, or some neo-soul with its quiet vocals, or some acoustic guitar and some beautiful lyrics.
It changes but I would say JP Saxe, Bruno Major, Phoebe Bridgers, The Staves, Sara Bareilles and Ben Abraham are some of my current favourites.

Movies: Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, Wes Anderson or a good romance, not gonna lie.

Books: I really am a romantic, so Jane Austen has a special place in my heart. Other than that, I really enjoy fantasy. I'm a Harry Potter kid, so if it has some magic in it and 10 thousand sequels, I'm in.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I sang at Norte Dame with my school choir when I was 17. It was one of the most breath-taking experiences of my life. Not only for the sheer beauty of it, which was absolutely stunning with its stained glass windows and towers and high ceilings, but because of its historical significance. Being a music student I have learnt to appreciate that particular building greatly, since it was maybe the most important music school in Europe for many centuries. I will never forget that day.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I’ve been singing for more that 19 years now and I would be willing to teach anyone who would like to learn. I can also do a very loud popping sound with my tongue (my special talent), but I’m not sure I would know how to teach that to someone. I could try though :)
