Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by a very nice person in Mumbai with a friend of mine who was couch surfing at the time

Hosted in Berlin with my sister by two different hosts, both delightful ^_^ My sister now lives there!

Interests

I am a staff nurse in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I have been living for 10 years. I love cycling, ride my bike everyday, and try to go on road cycling adventures when possible. I love camping in the wild. I like singing, and I'm part of a Balkan singing choir. I have volunteered with refugees in Calais, Lesvos and Athens as a nurse. I love meeting people, having fun, sewing, cooking, eating, reading, walking in the woods, dancing (mainly barefoot), doing yoga and pilates, sitting in the sun, chatting with friends, wood fires and cuddles!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was teaching english to a Buddhist monk tibetan refugee in India. He was one of the most pure soul I've ever encountered. At that time I was a vet, and I decided to change my aim in life and become somebody who helped people. Now I am a nurse and I love my job!
