I spontaneously joined the crew of a tall ship and sailed the Saint Lawrence.

...Because I've always wanted to do something like that (specifically a nautical thing) and when I asked they said I could come with them but they were leaving the port in 2 hours. So I quit the job I'd just started on my way home to pack a bag and hurried back. We set sail. I got to take the helm. Etc. Incredible experience. I've always ALWAYS wanted to sail. I still do. I want more.
