To learn about myself by exploring the world around me

ABOUT ME

I'm a university student at Iowa State University in Ames Iowa. I'm studying Global Resource Systems, which in a nutshell is learning about the great wide spectrum if issues facing the world ranging from soil erosion to overpopulation and how they all are connected.

I have a passion to travel and experience the world and what it has to offer. I'm open, flexible, and pretty easy going. I like trying new things and go off the beaten path.

I've been to 11 countries, including many in Europe, Uganda, and China. I've worked with and taught in rural schools in Uganda and have worked with a few agricultural companies in China. I enjoy experience what the locals experience, to really get immersed in the culture.

I enjoy a wide variety of books, movies and music, but I do enjoy fantasy novels and ones about the human spirit and mental aspect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've helped school children in Uganda and ventured into China alone without knowing the language.
