ABOUT ME

it's hard for me to write about me. i'm very friendly and tend to use long words and get involved in excessively complicated sentence structures. i like music, visual art, and film. a lot. i also like to exercise and be outdoors.

i read a lot of comics--some 'funnies' (mostly out-of-print ones like pogo or calvin and hobbes), but mostly the postmodern, self-involved meta biographical kind like those by chris ware, alison bechdel, or derek kirk kim. even more than i like reading or listening to things, i like making or doing them myself.

i love meeting new people, but i (like many folks) need to get my alone time on too. i jaywalk a lot. i like high places. i'm a pretty reliable, well-intentioned guy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

mostly surfing and a bit of hosting ... occasionally, i can be founded rocking a poker game in french or spanish. what UP!?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've surfed in the US of A a few times and both surfed and hosted while living (briefly) in valencia, spain.

i finished my own graphic novel; it took me three and a half years. (!)

i also went to norway and saw the fjords, which definitely goes into the "amazing things seen" category.
