ABOUT ME

22 year old scandinavian girl, traveling the world. Always happy to gain new experiences, and perceptions on life.
I finished high school in 2013, and have been traveling around the world ever since. Been working as a kindergarten teacher to save up money for my travels.
I am a creative girl. I bring my camera wherever i go, and would like to do something with art in the future. I paint, draw and dance. I also use meditation and yoga as a practice in my daily life. I am going to India in january become a Yoga Teacher. I see myself as an easygoing and curious character.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people, and for me Couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet friends when traveling. Not only seeing the places you visit as a tourist, but gaining the perspect of a local! Met many cool people through Couchsurfing, and I am only looking forward to what has to come. I love exchanging stories on cultural differences, and getting a broader horizon.

Interests

I currently work at a yoga school, and look forward to have the education so i can teach myself. I absolutely love the art of photography. It's magical to my how you can capture a moment, that is so brief, and make people feel the same as you did, by portraying it in a certain way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love the movies of Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, David Fincher and a bunch of others. Man i just really love movies. Believe I've seen movies for a whole lifetime.

"The power of Now" is a really special book to me. Also Shantaram, because i read it while I was in India, and it just made the experience so much more vivid.

I enjoy all kinds of music, I can't just say one genre, it really depends on my mood.
If i have to say some artists it would be Erykah Badu, Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, Anderson. Paak, Chance the Rapper, Frank Ocean, Kurt Vile, Unkown Mortal Orchestra, Miles Davis, Stan Getz... Hmm okay seriously the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think traveling is just the most amazing thing I've done. Met so many amazing human beings, and gained so many experiences i wouldn't be the same person without.
