ABOUT ME

I am a nice person with a great wit and an excellent sense of humor (I am in fact extremely funny and often say funny, funny things) I like to cook, go out with my friends, read, swim and dive in the ocean, play video games, go for long walks and watching good TV-series on DVD. I love my line of work, meeting new people and of course to travel the world! Like so many others here, nothing makes me happier than getting on a plane, train or bus to somewhere new! And I have not at all traveled enough!

PHILOSOPHY

It is nice to be important - but its more important to be nice.

I try to meet people with an open mind. Sometimes that means you get burned a little. But I would rather live with that, than have the opposite approach to the rest of the people on this planet.

I'm just getting started. But hope to find a couch on my trip to the states and that nice people will come and stay on our couch too.

I have stayed on couches before but never surfed on them.

Interests

Traveling:
-I like people. And I often enjoy meeting new ones, and finding out what life is like in other parts of the world.

Politics:
- The game that makes the world go round and round and round. Sometimes in a better direction, often in a worse. But I like it. A whole lot better than sports. For some reason I am into US politics. It's so much more juicy than what goes on in Scandinavia.

- I like stories, delivered in all types of media, and I like the way it makes my brain fell when they a good, moving, funny or even sad.

Food:
Like to cook it - it makes me relax, I like to eat it, and to try new stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different types of music. Mostly pop/rock and 90's stuff. Right now the first five on my Ipod ranges from Belle and Sebastian to Nirvana the Knife, Vampire Weekend and Ben Harper.

Litteratur:

A few favorites are The Never Ending Story, Hitchhikes Guide, Life of Pi, The White Tiger and American Psycho.

Movies:

Fight Club, Man Bites Dog, The Truman Show, Amelie, Back to the Future, The Godfather, The Big Lebowski
And I just saw Labyrinth again. Just as good as I remembered it! (dance, magic, dance!)

Tv:series:

I am a HUGE Buffy fan, loved The Wire that I just finished, I'm watching Breaking Bad right now and Dexter is another awesome show!

Books is a hard one. Anything that can make me think in the style it is written - if that makes sense.

(maybe that just sounds scary..)

I just finished Douglas Coupland Generation A. That one was a tad weird towards the ending...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have once flown in a hot-air balloon and seen the midnight sun set and rise over the huge Forrest and lakes of Finland. Beautiful.

The rest is better delivered over a good meal, a beer or a glass of vine - or maybe just coffee.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I am a journalist, and have worked in news production quite a bit. And I teach at uni once per semester,. So if anyone wants to know stuff about anything like that, I will be happy to share.
