Hi there! - My name is Mette, and I'm 22 years-old :-)

I currently live in Holstebro, Denmark, in a 2-bedroom apartment, with my boyfriend Martin (26 years-old) and our two cats Chuck and Charlie.

At the moment I'm taking a bachelor degree in Nursing - and I should be finished in January 2018 :-)
Martin is studying to be a teacher in English, History and Social Studies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have previously travelled with couchsurfing in India - and that was a really great experience!

I'm on couchsurfing, because I enjoy meeting new people from all around the globe. I love learning about new cultures and religions, love tasting new food, having debates about the state of the world - I just want to experience the whole world, and it dosn't matter if it's from my home, or from yours!

Interests

Nursing: I'm enjoying my studies a lot, and I can't wait to put my knowledge to use in helping people.

Music: both making and listening.

FDF: Is a form of scouts, so building stuff out of wood and robe, cooking food on an open fire, sleeping in tents - Loving it!

Gaming: Both me and Martin also enjoys playing different games on pc. For me it's mostly World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and Mass Effect 3, but Martin plays pretty much everything ;-)

We both enjoy reading Stephen King and watching horror movies!

Martin is much into Star Wars, Lord of the Ring, Game of Thrones and that sort of stuff, whereas I also like that stuff, but also very much enjoys Twilight, Hunger Games and more girly stuff ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled in Asia for 4½ months, and it was one of the greatest experiences in my life! I started in Thailand for a couple of weeks, then I went to India where I travelled from Kochi to Delhi on the west-coast in 1½ months where I stayed with some wonderful hosts. After that I was a month in Nepal, and then 1½ months in China, where I travelled from Hong Kong and then inwards ending in Beijing.
