ABOUT ME

I am SHY person, it doesnt define me but it does restrict me, so be warned! Other than that I have a great passion for History and Culture. If i get to benefit from your hospitality or you from mine, you can be sure i will plague you with constant questions about your city major and minor past events as well as your ways of life, your local legends and so on.

I like to party and have stamina enough to arrive home in the morning, however, i also apreciate some quiet time spent talking over a cup of tea or a beer. One of my favourte things to do are walks in nature, landmark and museum visiting and exploring markets/old stores filled with odds and ends. I am also a very independent person and i like to do my own things and have time for myself, go about exploring and finding magic in little street corners. There's a tender spot in my heart for the whimsy and the fantastical, specially if it comes in a darkly surreal package.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now i participate by offering to tour CS'ers arouch my city. I also give support to those wishing to learn European Portuguese. I hope in the future to be able to host CS'ers and take them to archeological digs (if they want to come of course) and a number of other things still in the planning stage.

I am a big fan of poetry (I enjoy Fernando Pessoa, José Régio, Pablo Neruda, Yeats, and many others). In fiction i apreciate most of all horror stories but i have no author that i swear by in that genre. Other than that i read a lot from fantasy to philosophy.

I listen to all kinds of music. I have a soft spot for Led Zeppelin, Fields of the Nephilim, Iggy Pop and Bauhaus. I also enjoy David Bowie, and...gosh, maybe we can talk more about music over a coffe? :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done and seen many amazing things. I was once with pre-historical cutting blades; i held a cropolite in my hands (Ewwww!!), i bathed in the sea with a violent storm all around, i made a meal and with it brought some happiness. I saw many amazing sunsets and walked the city in the rain, with the fog making eerie lights out of the streetlamps; when walking to the hostel from an archeological prospection me and my pals were almost abducted by aliens (i swear, it was a plane..but you can never be totally sure), i helped my dog giving birth and helped the pups growing up....
