Overview
About Me
Hola! I'm Christoph, 39 years old, originally from Switzerland, and I've been living for over 11 years in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest — Iquitos, Peru — together with my Peruvian wife. I work as a wildlife tour guide and run my own eco-adventure travel business, offering unforgettable jungle experiences deep in the rainforest.
Over the years, I’ve traveled to 42 countries, always with an open mind and heart. After many years abroad, I'm now back in Switzerland to show my wife the beauty of my home country — from the mountains and lakes to the people and culture that shaped me.
I consider myself respectful, easygoing, and curious about people and their stories. I love deep conversations, nature, photography, and cultural exchange. I’m also very independent and adaptable — no drama, just gratitude.
PHILOSOPHY
Live simply, love deeply, and stay curious.
For me, real life happens when you get out of your comfort zone. Traveling is not just fun — it’s a way to connect, learn, and grow. The world is full of wonder, and I want to experience as much of it as I can — not through luxury, but through authenticity.

Respectful and clean behavior — I treat every home like it’s my own
WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING
To meet kind and open people, share culture and stories, and make meaningful connections — not just book a place to sleep. I believe Couchsurfing is about mutual trust and creating small bridges between strangers.
CURRENT MISSION
To explore Switzerland with my wife, show her the hidden gems and meet wonderful locals along the way. We’re looking for warm-hearted people who enjoy cultural exchange and are open to hosting a calm and respectful couple.
