I'm just a simple curious boy on a mission to soak up all the incredible stories life has to offer. Looking for stories and trying to build up an adventurous, easy-going, patient soul. Somehow calm and introverted but super excited to hear people's stories, look at the world from their eyes, and learn their way of living life.
I'm currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Maryland, working on auditory neuroscience, where I try to think about how the brain processes speech and music, especially how we can focus on a specific voice in our environment.
I get super stoked about cognitive science, philosophy, and sociology (definitely after neuroscience, of course!). When I'm not geeking out over my studies, I absolutely love having deep talks and learning about different perspectives. Walking, swimming, reading, and immersing myself in music are some of my other passions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent my past year in 9 different countries and I'd like to continue my journey in North America and Europe this year.
I lost my previous account so I needed to start here from zero. I'd like to connect with new people, build awesome friendships, and create unforgettable memories. I'm looking forward to being inspired by their unique personalities and adding a little bit of their charm to my own! I usually travel alone, with just a small backpack. I always handle the accommodation myself, but I'd like to be connected to locals and hang out there.
