Salut à tous, je m'appelle Mathieu et j'aime voyager à vélo depuis quelques années.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started hosting people using the warmshower network, which is really just couchsurfing, but for cyclists. But I realized I mainly wanted to host people from different horizons and talk about travels, food, books, and all that is good in the world.

A big Terry Pratchett's fan. I especially recommend reading Nation or Going Postal :)

I also listen to almost everything, with marked preference for 70s-80s UK rock 'n' roll (oldies but goldies).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Japan for one year, and climbed mount Fuji at night to see the sunset.

Cycled from Marseille to Santiago in Spring 2018.

Cycled around Europa in Summer 2018.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am well versed in language studies, so I can help you with your French or even Japanese.

I can also teach you a few recipes of "provençale cuisine" (say it with a French accent).
