ABOUT ME

I am a photojournalist now living in New York. One thing I love about my work is getting to travel and meet interesting people and hear their stories.

Currently I work mostly for newspapers, magazine and universities in the U.S. I never say no to an opportunity to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a Quaker. What does that mean? It means I believe there is something sacred and special in every person I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined couchsurfing.org. But before the word existed I used to stay with friends or strangers whenever I traveled.

Music, Movies, and Books

The older I get the older music I listen to gets.

I love to read novels and memoirs. But sadly, who has time for books anymore? Not me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved climbing up icebergs in channels of the Arctic Ocean in far northern Canada. I loved watching the sunset glow hit the top of Mt Rainier in Washington. I loved it when so many of our friends gathered in a perfect apple orchard for our wedding day.
