About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, make memorable experiences, enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23yo recent college grad who lives to travel. I love to experience new places and cultures all on a college students budget.
I'm pretty laid back, but also can have some fun. I like to make memories with people and I think that can be accomplished many different ways. I will say it usually revolves around good food though.
Theatre is a big part of my life. I am always down to see a new show or an old favourite.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life. I have come to realize we should do what makes us happy. We only have one life and why waste it doing something we don't care about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in December 2013 with a great guy in PIttsburgh. He was very welcoming and hospitable. He was a traveler himself and we discussed our past and future travel plans. Can't wait to surf more and meet other great people.

Interests

When I am not busy with shows/work I enjoy the outdoors.
Camping, hiking, exploring an area I've never been to before.
I like to try new food that I haven't experienced before, and I am always down for shawarma, pad se ewe, gyros, or poutine. If there's something you really enjoy, I would like to try it.
I really enjoy riding/surveying mass transit systems (subway, light rail, streetcar). If there is one in the city I'm headed, you can bet I'm going to ride it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big movie fan. I like darker dramas and psychological thrillers.
I try to go every week to see a movie, but life tends to get in the way. I am always okay with discussing movies, and the feelings they bring up. I have recently started trying to see all the Oscar nominated movies before they're actually nominated. Not the easiest task but I enjoy all the movies I see.

Music is a big part of my life. As a theatre person I enjoy a lot of musicals, but also like many other styles of music. I have been listening to some folk music lately, as well as country, indie, pop, whatever strikes me when I listen to it.

I try to read as much as I can, but that hasn't been too often with everything else going on with me. I do like fiction and have recently been reading a book about walkability in downtown areas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in Zion National Park. It was one of the most beautiful places I've been.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a host I can offer you a place to stay while you are traveling around and usually a hearty breakfast in the morning. I have a small couch or a mattress that I could put on the floor. I also have knowledge of the city that I can give in terms of restaurants and bars.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Spain, United States
