French man, born and bred in the city of lights. I can be extremely shy at times, but I usually am very talkative, friendly and interested about many things.

To celebrate the end of my studies, I went for about two months in Australia. Having an amazing time.
2019 was a year of big changes. Leaving my job to walk on The Way Of St James.

On my way to discover places around the world, I decided to go in United Kingdom, just before Covid.
Amazing time there as I spent 4 years in the Greater London. Mostly in St Albans.

November 2023 led me to start a new adventure, adding a new destination on my list : Canada.
In Toronto since the End of December.

After visiting multiple places in this big country, I travelled in bus throughout the USA and finally came back in Europe.

Now I am living in South West of France, in Périgueux (delicious Wine County, and also prehistorical treasures)
Beautiful city about 1 hour from Bordeaux, Limoges, Angoulême...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that Couchsurfing is helping to make us closer to each other. Just by Words.
So, let's introducing some of my "Words" :
"Share" is important in peoples life, maybe essential. Sharing a moment, a meal, sometimes, a day or more. Sharing is giving an opportunity to improve our knowledge.
"Discover" sounds like a promess. Today, maybe we will discover a new street, a Sculpture in a museum, an answer to one of your questions, or something totally different. Anyway, when we're discovering, whatever it is, it is something new that we'll remember for a long time. And it can become a life changing moment. Let's keep our minds open.
"Unique" is a little word that makes crazy stuff. It is unique to even think about. Everything, everyone is unique. Whatever it is, whatever the amount. Everything is unique and so it is.
"World" has so many possibilities, that it's sufficient in itself. Let's find out the one we wish about.
"Travel" is a funny and mysterious word, which can be either philosophical or physical.
And so much more.
"Culture", oh, so great. In the "World" there are so many "Unique" "Culture". And to "Discover" just a few in a life time, You must take the time to "Travel" and to "Share" what you learn. With "Culture" are coming all my words.
But there is so much more.
Couchsurfing, here I am to talk about and feel my words.

Interests

We do not have all our interests in common.
Actually, I do have a real interest in Hiking, wherever and whenever it is, no matter how small or how big it is, a hike is so good.
Cycling, on a drift tike, road bike, touring bike, mountain bike and all others, like shopper bike and... I love it,
Magic tricks, with cards, easy ones, just to put a smile on a face.
Travelling by foot, on a bike, with train, boat, hands, spirit.... It feels so good.
Sometimes, when you love eating, you'll love cooking. I'm not a "Michelin" chef, nor a chef at all either, but I do like to cook.
Whatching TV,Movies, anything but horor. Too sensitive.
Writing letters, little stories, nothing particular on a notebook or somewhere else, I do love that. And I am a left handed man.
Listening music, or sometimes, just listening at what is around us.
I do love meeting people. That is a real interest. Even though I can feel insecure or shy, due to my sensitivity.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lets start with Music.
basically, I am eclectic. Means that I can listen Rap and R&B, Rock, Jazz, Hard-Rock, and much more. I like classical music too as it is among the first notes and we can hear it in almost every other kind of music. I would say that the kind of music I am not a huge fan of is Electro / House. In the mean time, I am not a specialist, it is just a pleasure in my ears.

Now, movies :
My favourite movies are Pride and Prejudice, both, the movie and the series, The quiet man, Forest Gymp and some more. I use to prefer Romcom (question of sensitivity) and I also like a good thriller sometime, or a drama. The only kind of movies I will leave for a puzzle night will be Horror. That is not possible for me.

Finally books :
I'd say it is similar to the movies but I am not a big reader. Even though I am trying to go back in it.
But I will like easy reading, also I have a preference for Travel sotories, the real ones and sometimes the fictional. Give me a book on hiking, I will be so happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a tough question.
Each adventure I have done, each place I went in, helped me to build the man I am today.
Extraordinary Adventures, that's even hard to define as, to me, an adventure is extraordinary. No matter what, this is an adventure.
So, I will tell you one of them. This one in particular changed my life, and also saved it.
Walk more than 1500 km in two months.
T'was Camino de Santiago between Le Puy en Velay and Santiago De Compostella.

Teach, Learn, Share

To teach, learn, and share are essential words for personal fulfilment.
Teaching our knowledge and being teatched the one of others.
Sharing between us, what we want, what we like, or what we're dreaming about.
Talking about what we dislike can be constructive as well.
We are with our dreams, our realities, our ambitions, our fears...
Learning other cultures, practicing languages but also discovering traditions.
In definitive, sharing with the world is making the bariers we can have falling down
Teaching, Learning, and Sharing only means we are openings ourselves to the entire humanity
