Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For my trips especially outside the country, this can be a nice place to find out experienced locals to help me understand and really experience neighborhood.
Also, i'll be glad to meet intellectual guests from different parts of world. Guiding and maybe hosting for any kind of visit in Istanbul.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Ethnic and local music generally from Turkey, Greece, Balkans, Caucausses, Iran, Middle-East/Arab World, Central Asia, North Africa.
Also, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock from 60's and 70's
Classical sounds from any geography and era would always be appreciated.
Real stories, political works, historical movies and epic tales are nice in movies. For about books, I used to read Turkish literature mostly. Of course, Russian classics and Iranian poetry are welcome.
