About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life fully by meeting and interacting with people of diverse cultures and beliefs

ABOUT ME

An Australian, who at the start of 2008 decided to leave her family and home country behind to come and experience the french life. Am loving the experience and find it very enriching to meet a diverse number of people, learn and share experiences and laugh together.

PHILOSOPHY

To learn everyday to enrich and grow as a person

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In as many ways as possible! While at home, hopefully I can host some couchsurfers, and when travelling hoping to meet lots of other interesting couch hosts!

Interests

France- its culture, history, people, food.
Dancing
Meeting new people and sharing experiences- the world is a much better place for sharing and tolerating differences.
The environment- nature is a wonderful and amazing thing

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- comedies, action, romantic comedies, drama, world movies, documentaries, anything with Matt Damon
Books- just about anything
Music- rock, pop, world, jazz

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing beats nature and there are two things which can't be beaten in my opinion- The red centre of Australia with Uluru and Kata Tjuta- amazing red sands and rock formations. The second is the Daintree Rainforst in the NorthEast of Australia, specifically the section with ancient ferns- some of the earliest organisms on earth and they still survive today! Nature makes you realise that there is a lot more out there than humans and their societies.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, learn, share is the basis of life so what can I share with you? well, my language skills for one and knowledge of France and Australia. Perhaps, you want to know about my experiences of changing countries and making a new life in a different part of the world and what I have learned from this fantastic experience.
